This year’s BFI Flare, the London LGBT Film Festival, ran from March 16 to 26 at BFI Southbank. Alongside Sophie Mayer and Alex Davidson, I took part in a podcast for Sight & Sound rounding up some of the highlights and emerging themes from this year’s festival.
We touched on queer porn and the new laws oppressing it, community-grounded filmmaking, awesome experimental animation and alien sex octopus thrills, among other things.
You can listen to the podcast here.
You can also hear the equivalent podcast I took part in after last year’s festival here.
