Bourgeois and Maurice’s How To Save the World Without Really Trying was one of my favourite shows at the Edinburgh Fringe this year (read my Scotsman review here).
So I was happy to do a Q&A with the fashion-forward drag-alien musical satirists for Run Riot before a two-week run of the show opens at Soho Theatre on Monday and hear more about their utopian aspirations.
As they put it: “We’re trying to save the world from humanity, and humanity from the world. Arguably, this is quite a futile endeavour, but so are golf, plastic surgery and being a member of the Labour Party, and they all seem very popular at the moment…”
