It’s almost a year since the doors of the Black Cap were unceremoniously closed – and closed they remain. From one perspective, this is a slap in the face. From another, it’s a kind of victory.
The overall fight is far from over. KentishTowner.co.uk asked me to do a round-up of the current situation and what people can do to help – starting by attending the #WeAreTheBlackCap public meeting at 7pm at Bloc Bar on Tuesday 22 March 2016.
